homemade ketchup sauce
ingredients:
- 700 g ripe tomatoes
- 1 red onion (or white)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of tomato paste (optional)
- 5 cl of white vinegar
- 70 g brown sugar
Wash the tomatoes and cut them in soon
Peel and slice the onion into rings.
chop the garlic.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil. Sauté onion and garlic until tender.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, vinegar and sugar. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes on medium heat.
Let cool then finely mix the vegetables to get a smooth sauce ketchup home.
